An Ottoman miniature from the 1500’s of #Aleppo, Syria, drawn by Ottoman polymath Matrakçı Nasuh. He completed a series of cityscape paintings while accompanying Kanuni Sultan Suleyman on campaigns against the Safavids in Iran.
